Lives are formed and transformed in small groups when people meet together
to pray, to study, to engage in fellowship, or to work on a specific task.
Jesus said, "Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them" (Matthew 18:20, NRSV).
If the depths of relationships and our commitment to one another are so important to God,
then small groups must also be important as it is only in small groups that close
relationships can develop. During the first two centuries of the Christian era church
buildings did not exist, so it was necessary that people met in their homes. In Small Groups,
meeting in the living room rather than the Sanctuary or the Sunday School classroom,
allows for intimacy, which in turn allows for a more intimate study of God's word.
Adults: Broadmoor offers a variety of Biblically based, adult church school classes. These
include classes centered on Christian parenting, spiritual growth and development, and
other contemporary Christian issues as well as Bible studies. All classes will be taught in
and New Beginnings in the Church Office Conference Room.
Church School or Sunday School is the foundation of Christian Education. We offer
classes for all ages, and we hope an offering that fits your learning style.
At Broadmoor Presbyterian Church we believe the study of the
Bible is intergral to growing in Christ and developing your Faith.
Youth: Join us for friendship, fellowship, and fun as we learn about God's redeeming
love and explore His plan for us.
